Daughter discovered her mother ‘paid a hit man $11,000 to kill her boyfriend and throw his body to alligators’ after reading about her arrest on FACEBOOK

Any bets on her leaning Leftward? An unhinged, violent social worker in New York – I mean, what are the odds? It sounds to me as if her daughter was emotionally a wreck… crying and being upset all the time about her ex-boyfriend. Who knows, he probably was verbally and emotionally abusive – she should have stayed away from him and gotten a restraining order, if that was the case. They weren’t married. Instead, Grandmama became incensed over the ordeal and decided the only way to protect her 2 year-old grandson was to off the daddy. Yeah, and the whole ‘alleged’ part? She got caught paying half of the $11K to the detective – sort of damning if you ask me.

who may have known about the plot.

From the Daily Mail:

The daughter of an upstate New York social worker who has been charged in a murder-for-hire plot targeting her ex-boyfriend spoke out in her defense Tuesday.

Melisa Schonfield, 57, was arrested Friday after allegedly hiring an undercover detective in the parking lot of a Walmart to kill Ernesto Negrillo.

The mother-of-two, who is married to a well-respected dentist, had allegedly agreed to pay the bogus hit man $11,000, telling the officer the best way to dispose of the body was ‘feeding it to alligators.’

The allegations stunned Schonfield’s daughter, 31-year-old Alexis Schnofield, who learned of her mother’s arrest on Facebook.

The woman, who has a 2-year-old son with Negrillo, said her ex-boyfriend had been verbally abusive toward her, but she noted that her mother has not admitted to trying to have him killed.

‘This only happens on a Lifetime movie, she said with tears in her eyes in an exclusive interview with ABC News. ‘My mom is not a monster. She’s not the mom that I grew up with, that I know.’

According to court filings, Mrs Schonfield’s husband, prominent upstate New York dentist Robert Schnofield, knew about the murder-for-hire plot and even joked about the possibility of his wife getting caught.

But in her interview with ABC News, Alexis dismissed the notion that her father had any prior knowledge of the alleged assassination conspiracy.

What’s with the daughter finding out via Facebook? Why didn’t her father call her? Lots of unanswered questions here. When murder is your go-to solution for a problem, you have become the problem and have stopped logically considering your options. A whole family is now destroyed and a little boy will grow up without his grandmother; all because the daughter couldn’t get a hold of her emotions and situation and because the mother of said daughter wanted a brutal, final solution to the whole mess. Grandmama has rocks for brains – anyone dumb enough to take on a hit man in this manner is begging to be caught. The parking lot of a Walmart? Really? One last note… feeding sonny boy to the gators wouldn’t have gotten rid of all the evidence either. This is why evil criminals get caught – they are deeply stupid.
