SEASONS GREETINGS: Man Brutally Beats Girlfriend After She Eats Last Chocolate Chip Cookie

After joking about checking the security cameras to see who ate the last cookie, a woman was punched in the face by her boyfriend who was upset that she had taken the last of his favorite cookies.

The victim, a 34 year-old nurse was punched in the left side on her face after her boyfriend, 31 year-old Richard Hessic, discovered that his live-in girlfriend had eaten the last cookie. In the police report, the investigator said that Hessic, standing at 6’4″, was “upset someone ate the last chocolate chip cookie” and was also angry that his girlfriend was “not taking him seriously.” Hessic felt she was “blowing him off” in his anger despite her offer to buy him more cookies soon.

Further, the victim did not “want to argue over something so petty” as taking the last cookie.

Hessic was arrested for domestic battery last Thursday at their shared Port St. Lucie, Florida home. His arraignment will take place on December 28th.

The incident took place after the victim went to take a shower and Hessic followed her into the bathroom. He ripped down the shower curtain and that’s when he punched her.

A judge who has already heard Hessic ordered him to have no contact with the victim and he has been given GPS monitoring and placed on house arrest. At this time, it is unsure where the victim is staying, but it’s reasonable to guess that she is no longer in that same home. More court filings show that this is not the first time that Hessic has been charged. He previously had arrests on file for battery, as well as fleeing and eluding police. On top of that, he was arrested for child abuse and driving without a license, as well as violation of probation.

While it is unknown if Hessic still doesn’t have a license, when the officer arrived, Hessic was leaving the scene in a red Lexus. At this time we do not know if he was driving to buy more cookies. Hessic and his girlfriend have been together for three years.

The last time we wrote up a bizarre case involving cookies, it was over a mother who baked “vagina cookies” for her second grader to bring into her class. Several of the students had been given homemade goods to bring into their class previously, but when the teacher told this one mother that the cookies were “inappropriate,” the mother allegedly became angry and said that it’s important that young children learn about sexuality. The mother left her cookies with the class and “stormed out,” according to the teacher.
