Democrat Pol: “All My Heroes Were America’s Enemies”

Americans and moonbats have one thing in common. Both need heroes to look up to. Take NYC Councilman and State Assembly “shoo-in” Charles Barron, who proclaims:

“All my heroes were America’s enemies.”

Given that for his entire life he has surrounded himself with vociferously anti-American radicals (Frank Marshall Davis, Bill Ayers, Jeremiah Wright, Michelle Obama), our Community Organizer in Chief could probably say the same.

Barron is particularly fond of the maniacal dictator Robert Mugabe, who turned the erstwhile “Breadbasket of Africa” (when it was still Rhodesia) into the hell on earth that is Zimbabwe.

“I would love for him to come to Albany. I would love for him to come anywhere in the United States, really,” Barron said in a recent interview with the New York Observer. “I think he’s a shining example of an African leader on the African continent.”

Barron famously hosted Mugabe as city councilman in 2002.

Mugabe took control of Zimbabwe in 1983 and instituted martial law in 1987. He rose to power after starting an ethnic cleansing in which tens of thousands of people were murdered, the Observer reports. Barron praised him because he seized land from white landowners and redistributed it to black Africans.

“No one’s perfect,” Barron told the Observer. “I see him as a freedom fighter.”

Other Barron favorites include Muammar Gaddafi, who was responsible for killing 189 Americans in the Lockerbie bombing, and communist dictator Fidel Castro, whose regime urged the Soviet Union to consider a nuclear attack to “eliminate” the United States.

Barron is expected to beat his Republican opponent for a New York Assembly seat handily. The Observer reports that he is running to replace his wife in the Assembly, who in turn is replacing him as city councilman.

The last time Barron was mentioned here, he was denouncing the Founding Fathers. He dismisses the great Thomas Jefferson as a “slaveholding pedophile.”

It goes without saying that Charles Barron is an enemy of America. What we need to start acknowledging is that anyone who would vote for him is also an enemy.
