Dirty Dealings: Hillary Clinton Paid Public Employee With Private Funds To Handle Email

Conflict of interest much? This is the kind of political incest that is so famous in Washington and for which the Left routinely tries to blame the Right, while engaging in it themselves. If Pagliano is taking the Fifth, he’s dirty and so are the dealings. Look for an offer of immunity. Whether he’ll take it or not is the question of the day. Of course Clinton doesn’t see a problem with this. But there is… not only ethically, but legally. She is personally hiring people who work for the federal government while they are still employed there. Yep, no corruption there at all, I’m sure. This is like some badly written TV show about appellation moonshiners where everyone works for someone else and they are all related. The plot for the real life version isn’t much better.

Hillary Clinton

From Breitbart:

Hillary Clinton’s campaign claims the Clinton family personally paid Bryan Pagliano, the former State Dept. employee who invoked his Fifth Amendment right not to give testimony incriminating himself, for maintaining the private email server where Hillary conducted official government business as Secretary of State.

From the Washington Post:

Hillary Rodham Clinton and her family personally paid a State Department staffer to maintain the private e-mail server she used while heading the agency, according to an official from Clinton’s presidential campaign.

The unusual arrangement helped Clinton retain personal control over the system that she used for her public and private duties and that has emerged as an issue for her campaign. But, according to the campaign official, it also ensured that taxpayer dollars were not spent on a private server that was shared by Clinton, her husband and their daughter as well as aides to the former president.

That State Department staffer, Bryan Pagliano, told a congressional committee this week that he would invoke his Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination instead of testifying about the setup.

The private employment of Pagliano provides a new example of the ways that Clinton — who occupied a unique role as a Cabinet secretary who was also a former and potentially future presidential candidate — hired staff to work simultaneously for her in public and private capacities.

Cheryl Mills, Clinton’s chief of staff, and Huma Abedin, a close confidant who served as deputy chief of staff, both spent time working for the State Department, the Clinton Foundation or the Clintons personally.

Sounds like co-mingling of federal and personal funds to me. I’d love to see that financial trail. What is it you’re doing where you feel like you have to involve your office staff outside their office job, on a project where they keep secrets from their office job, while being paid by their office job boss? I can’t keep up. Arkansas politics with an appellation branchless family tree twist. So, what is the word to describe the type of misconduct you get when you cross a complete lack of ethics with a complete lack of judgement? Does corrupt, psychotic bureaucrat cover it? This kind of twisted obfuscation is not something you do to conceal honesty. Clinton has muddied the issue to disguise wrong doing. Cut the deals with her minions and prosecute her.
