Before we get into this story, we need to clear a few things up. First, to a progressive everything is racist, sexist, bigoted, hateful, etc. If they don’t like what you have to say, it is given one of these labels and shoved into a drawer where they don’t have to consider what you’re trying to get across. It’s an easy way to dismiss any criticism on its face and quite frankly if I wasn’t so fundamentally opposed to the idea of calling someone a “sexist” because they said something mean about me, I’d adopt it in a New York minute. How easy is that?
So, when Trump made a joke about Elizabeth Warren, calling her “Pocahontas” in front of the Navajo Code Talkers, naturally it was branded as racist.
While honoring the Navajo veterans at the White House, Trump made a crack about Warren’s claims of being a Native American.
“You were here long before any of us were here,” Trump said. “Although, we have a representative in Congress who they say was here a long time ago. They call her Pocahontas.”
Oh boy. Naturally, this was not taken as a joke by the Chief Screeching Harpy, who took to MSNBC to complain that the President was being a big, fat meanie.
She claimed it was “deeply unfortunate that the President of the United States cannot even make it through a ceremony honoring these heroes without throwing out a racial slur.”
So Pocahontas is a racial slur, now? I thought it was a name. Is that like black people calling each other “Uncle Toms” when they leave the Democrat Party? If so, why is that not called out more often by Democrats? I demand an investigation into these shenanigans!
For those who may not know, Warren has listed herself as a “Native American” to get into Harvard easier and since then has become the butt of many jokes. She cites her “high cheek bones” as proof of her Native heritage and anyone who says otherwise is – you guessed it – racist.
She also claims that Trump is using the “insult” as a way to try to shut her up, but the rest of us know it would take nothing short of an act of God to close her mouth. She speaks even though there is a very small group of people who actually care what she has to say. The rest of us are just disgusted by the way that she wastes oxygen.
