REVENGE ACCUSATION? Roy Moore Represented Mother of One of His Accusers in Custody Case Against Her

The accusations against Roy Moore have always been suspicious, given the timing. However, new court documents reveal a potential motive for a fraudulent sexual assault claim.

Apparently, Moore groped Tina Johnson in his office decades ago, but Breitbart recently obtained court documents that indicate that their “relationship” was probably more contentious then previously indicated.

These documents show that Moore represented Johnson’s mother, Mary Katherine Cofield, in a custody battle for Johnson’s then 12 year-old son, Daniel Sitz. One of the affidavits signed by Cofield claims that Tina has a “violent nature” and was “treated by a psychiatrist” at the age of 15.

Johnson claims that Moore groped her while she was at his office with her mother in 1991. The website notes that the mother was there so Johnson could sign over custody of her 12 year-old son to Cofield. Johnson claims that she was walking out of his office when Moore reached over and “grabbed her buttocks.”

“He didn’t pinch it; he grabbed it,” she said.

She claims she was so surprised by the blatant action that she didn’t even mention it to her mother, who was described as sitting right next to her in the room.

The boy had reportedly lived with Cofield since he was 9 months-old and provided him with all of the necessities “without any help from Johnson.” She was officially granted custody of the boy in 1991, when the alleged groping took place.

Now am I saying that he didn’t touch her? I don’t know that for a fact, but it does seem mighty suspicious that she would come out with this information given the circumstances of her relationship with Moore.

Women falsely accuse men of sexual misconduct for a variety of reasons, jealousy, anger, embarrassment, etc., so it wouldn’t be surprising if she pulled something like that. It’s unfortunately not as rare as a lot of people would like to think. I’m not saying that’s the case here, again, because I don’t know. I wasn’t there that day. I am suggesting that there could be other driving forces behind her claim than the truth, given the current information.

I would like to think that women wouldn’t lie about being sexually assaulted or harassed because it makes it hard for people to believe women who have been legitimately victimized in their lives. I would love to be able to believe someone who comes out with her allegations because there is no way they could be lying. That’s just not the world that we live in. If Johnson is lying, she’s doing the world a disservice by making these false claims.
