Master of horror shares scary thoughts on Donald Trump as President

World famous horror fiction author, Stephen King, spent time talking about his fear of Donald Trump as a president. King was interviewed by Ron Charles of the Washington Post on a live Facebook video.

Watch the video here.

Stephen King, the man who spent his life scaring us, finally reveals something that he’s personally scared of. He’s worried about the horror that may come if Donald Trump is president. I think he should be more worried if Hillary Clinton was in the White House leading the country and that’s just my opinion.

I believe Donald Trump isn’t the war-mongering-racist that people make him out to be. He’s very outspoken, but that doesn’t translate to dropping bombs where they don’t belong. People think Trump would begin World War III. I believe Trump loves his family too much to put them in any danger from a war or any sort of offensive maneuver.

During this interview, King said this:

“A Tump presidency scares me more than anything else,” King told Ron Charles, editor of The Washington Post’s Book World, during a Facebook Live interview Saturday. “I’m terrified that he’ll become president.”

I think Stephen King has become a victim of his own creation. He’s imaging scenarios putting Trump in the worst place and position, but not being very realistic.

Stephen King later said this:

“The key chord to all of this is fear,” he said. “We’re afraid the government is going to take away our guns, we’re afraid that Mexico is going to invade the United States, we’re afraid of this, we’re afraid of that, we’re afraid of taxes, we’re afraid of transgender bathrooms — the whole thing.”

“As long as people are fearful it’s hard to have a rational discussion,” he said.

No one with a working brain wants guns taken away. That’s a very strong safety blanket for some people.

Maybe Stephen King needs to sleep under a strong blanket since he’s so scared.
