REPORT: Trump wants “SHAKEUP” Of White House Staffers, Bannon RESPONDS

I’ve been hearing whispers of this now for about a week. Rumor has it a BIGLY shakeup is coming to the White House and you will be surprised who is on the chopping block… Reince Priebus and Steve Bannon. I’m floored by that development. But President Trump is unpredictable and loves keeping everyone guessing, so this really shouldn’t surprise me. Trump values loyalty and results. He won’t tolerate a power grab or grandstanding. He’s the show, not those that serve him.

Trump has not committed to any of this, so it is yet to be seen if he will pull the trigger on this. Last time I saw Bannon, he looked like he didn’t have a care in the world. Who knows? But there is now a list of replacements for Priebus as White House Chief of Staff and it is interesting. Trump’s followers may have a problem with some of them, we’ll see. All are wealthy, powerful men… right in line with Trump.

From Axios:

President Trump is considering a broad shakeup of his White House that could include the replacement of White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and the departure of chief strategist Steve Bannon, aides and advisers tell us.

A top aide to Trump said he’s contemplating major changes, but that the situation is very fluid and the timing uncertain: “Things are happening, but it’s very unclear the president’s willing to pull that trigger.”

Insiders tell me that the possibilities for chief of staff include:

> House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), who developed a bond with Trump as one of the earlier congressional leaders to support him, and remains a confidant.

> Wayne Berman of Blackstone Group, a Washington heavy-hitter who was an Assistant Secretary of Commerce under President George H.W. Bush, and a key adviser on eight presidential campaigns.

> David Urban of the Washington advisory firm American Continental Group, and a former chief of staff to the late Sen. Arlen Specter (R-Pa.). Urban helped Trump win an upset victory in Pennsylvania, and was in constant cellphone contact with the candidate throughout the campaign.

> Gary Cohn, Trump’s economic adviser and the former #2 at Goldman Sachs, who has built a formidable team and internal clout.

Getting rid of Priebus was probably a foregone conclusion. I don’t think he was meant to be in that position for the long haul. And to drain the swamp, Priebus will have to go. But those mentioned to replace him are part of the Establishment. Odd choices from Trump and I have no idea what he is thinking on this. I’m just here for the show. Welcome to the White House Game of Thrones and the war between populists and moderates. Bannon told associates: “I love a gunfight.”

Bannon claims this is all a lie. But hey… it’s Bannon and we know how that game is played. I do know that after the Syrian strikes last night that InfoWars turned on Trump. Rand Paul did as well. Paul is wrong and this is why he should never be President. This time I support President Trump all the way. The strikes were long overdue. Who knows on the White House shakeup… maybe that will be bombs away as well.
