2 Year-Old Shredded in Horrific Dog Attack… Confused About What ‘Naughty Doggies’ Did to Her

A two year-old in Britain suffered a horrific pit bull attack three months ago. At least I think they are pit bulls… the Brits call them American Bully dogs The paramedics at first did not think she would make it, but she held on. She is three years-old now and has scars all over her body. She has no feeling in her lower lip. And all the little angel wants to know is why the ‘naughty doggies’ did this to her. She is still hurt and confused over the whole encounter and she’ll carry those scars the rest of her life.

The dogs got through a chicken wire fence and savaged the child. The little one was a very happy, outgoing child until this happened. The paramedic who was first at the scene to help the injured little girl is now raising money to help her after discovering she was not eligible for compensation. Steve got permission from his bosses to visit the little girl and her family after she left the hospital. He said: “It was one of the worst things I’ve come across. I’ve been to dog bites before but this poor girl was absolutely shredded by those dogs. It wasn’t just her head and neck – it was her whole body. She was in such a bad way and if I’m honest, I wasn’t convinced she was going to make it at first.”

A little girl who is covered in scars after a horrific dog attack is still hurt and confused by what the “naughty doggies” did to her.

The two-year-old was savaged by an American Bully dog which escaped through a chicken wire fence.

The youngster, who can’t be named for legal reasons, was in such a bad way after the shocking attack paramedics didn’t think she was going to make it.

Her whole body is now covered in scars and she still has no feeling in her lower lip.

Now, three months after the Liverpool attack, her mum has given permission for shocking photos of her injuries to be published.

The girl, who is now three, was previously bubbly and outgoing but her mum told a court she had been left “hurt and confused” by what the “naughty doggies” did to her, reports the Liverpool Echo.

Steve, the paramedic, has two daughters of his own, ages one and four. This incident haunted him and that was when he decided to help them any way he could. Even though this was a criminal offence, the authorities designated it an accident and that is why the child did not receive any compensation. So, Steve is raising money through GoFundMe. Dog breeder Andrew McGowan was sentenced to jail for 18 months in June after Liverpool Crown Court heard four of his American Bully dogs burst through a fence he “patched-up with chicken wire” and savaged the girl. She had deep cuts to her cheek and puncture wounds to the bone. It took seven hours of surgery to patch her up after she was airlifted to a hospital. McGowan, 35, of Cockburn Street, was also disqualified from keeping dogs for 12 years after pleading guilty to being in charge of four dogs which were dangerously out of control.

I can relate to this as my daughter was attacked while on roller skates by two Akitas when she was ten years-old. One of them bit her by the eye, but she was lucky and not blinded. We believe they thought she was a pup, because they didn’t shred her. She was okay after getting first aid, but it was terrifying. My daughter still has that one scar by her eye as a reminder. I feel for this little girl and her family. I hope she recovers fully from this.
