They Told Her She Was ‘Too Fat’ to Wear a Bikini… So She Did THIS

Some of you may agree with this lady and some of you may agree with the store employee. Either way, I think we can all agree that confidence is the most attractive quality a woman could have!

From IJReview:

With summer just around the corner, people are doing a bit of spring shopping, and that usually includes picking up a new bathing suit.

But when U.K resident Jes P Ortelli went bathing suit shopping last week, she was caught off guard when a female employee at the store came up to her and rudely told her:

“[…] ‘girls like me’ shouldn’t wear a bikini!”

Though she was put in a rather uncomfortable position, Ortelli took the high road and shook it off without responding, but she did decide to report the employee to the store manager.

When Ortelli got home, however, the comment was still on her mind.

So, in an effort to shed some light on the situation, Ortelli wrote about the incident on her Facebook — where she also a photo of herself in her new swimsuit:

Since sharing the post on April 7th, Ortelli has received thousands of “likes” and comments from people praising her for her handling of the situation and being proud of who she is.

One commenter gave her major kudos:

“Legend. Love you for this jess ! No one should be ashamed of their body ! And the bitch that told you to not wear a bikini can go to hell smile emoticon we need more girls like you ! So many girls end up with eating disorders because of evil comments about their shape which is a shame. Everyone should be happy with how they look and embrace it. Like you said confidence is what makes you sexy ! Xxxxxxx”
