Rubio Would Lose in Landslide Among Hispanics

We are told by the GOP establishment that Republicans must assist Democrats in flooding the country with potentially tens of millions of unskilled Mexicans so as to win their votes. They chose turncoat former Tea Party candidate Marco Rubio to be the Republican face of the amnesty initiative because he is himself Hispanic. Now that amnesty has sailed through the Senate, Republicans eagerly ask, “Hispanics like us now, right? They’ll vote Republican?” They don’t and they won’t:

In a potential 2016 presidential election matchup, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton would beat Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) among Latinos, a poll out Monday shows.

Clinton is the favorite to Rubio 66 percent to 28 percent, the survey from Latino Decisions reports. Rubio also loses in a potential matchup against Vice President Joe Biden 60 percent to 28 percent.

That is, the GOP golden boy of obsequious hispandering would lose in a blowout among Hispanics to even the most unthinkable Democrat candidates.

It gets funnier. As Weasel Zippers notes,

Romney won 27% of the Hispanic vote in 2012, a new poll finds Rubio would win 28% in a hypothetical matchup against Hillary Clinton.

Romney’s policy was to promote “self-deportation.” That is, he didn’t pander to illegal aliens or their sympathizers. This and not being Hispanic himself cost him 1% of their vote compared to Rubio.

Either the amnesty-supporting Republican establishment consists of cretins, or Rubio, McCain, et al. are literally in cahoots with Democrats to keep conservatives home on election day.
