Being the parent of a child with special needs can be hard, especially when you see your son or daughter struggling to make friends. When one mom saw how disappointed her son, who has speech apraxia, was when he had no one to come to his 10th birthday party, she made a plea on Facebook that’s quickly going viral.

Hopefully, Camden will be able to have the most awesome water balloon fight birthday party ever! But even more importantly, maybe this will help more people be more understanding and accepting of people who have special needs and are a little bit different from what society considers to be “normal”.
