Maher recognizes that Islam is a major problem in the world today and he also recognizes exactly how hypocritical liberals are when it comes to Muslim terror.

“How many terrorist attacks, Muslim-inspired terrorist attacks have there been in the last 20, 30 years? And how many Christian-inspired? … They [Islamic terrorists] are trying to get a nuclear weapon. I don’t think there are any Christian groups trying to get a nuclear weapon.”

“Where are the liberals to stand up for them? The people who could got abide apartheid for one second, somehow when it comes to ‘gender apartheid’ as it comes to so many places around the world, they are not to be heard. There are millions of Muslims around the world who are gay and have no one to stand up for them, and I didn’t heard any of it this week. In ten Muslim countries you get the death penalty for just being gay. Could we have a little perspective on this issue? Size matters. Why aren’t liberals denouncing violence against gays in Muslim nations?”

If only Maher could stay on that level of common sense, I’d be his biggest fan!
