Chris Matthews is OUTRAGED the GOP allowed a Benghazi Victim’s Mother to Speak at the Convention

It takes a very small man to listen to the mother of a man who was slain by radical Islamists and then turn around and say that he “doesn’t care about what she’s feeling.”

Luckily, Chris Matthews is a very, VERY small man.

MSNBC’s Chris Matthews stated the RNC “ruined” the first night of its convention by including the mother of slain Benghazi State Department employee Sean Smith in the line up of speakers.

During her remarks at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Patricia Smith said, “For all of this loss, for all of this grief, for all of the cynicism the tragedy in Benghazi has wrought upon America, I blame Hillary Clinton. I blame Hillary Clinton personally for the death of my son.”

“I don’t understand why the Republicans would choose to put this on primetime television, when they have such wonderful stories of American heroism to speak to the American people,” Chris Matthews said of Smith’s speech. “I think it was wrong, I don’t care what that woman up there — the mother — has felt. Her emotions are her own.”

“But for the country, in choosing a leader, it’s wrong to have someone up there and tell a lie about Hillary Clinton. It’s not true. It’s logically not true and manifestly not true” he added. “And I think it’s wrong they ruined their evening with this.”

Smith on several occasions has stated that Hillary Clinton told her personally at the repatriation ceremony when her son’s body and those of the three other Americans killed in Benghazi arrived at Andrews Air Force base in 2012 that a video was the cause of the attack.

This is absolutely soulless and despicable. He should be removed from the air at once! If someone had said this about Michael Brown’s mom, or Trayvon Martin’s mom, liberals would be demanding their head on a pike!
