ALERT!! Police are HUNTED! New Shootings in Three States!

Everyone has heard by now of the shooting in Dallas, in which five police officers were killed. But there have been shootings all over the country. Are police officers being hunted?

Police Shootings Protests Dallas

From The Federalist Papers Project:

Thursday morning a shooting occurred in Bristol, TN, claiming the lives of three victims including a local police officer. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has released the name of the suspect, Lakeem Keon Scott. The 37-year-old was armed with two weapons: an automatic-style rifle and a pistol, in addition to a large supply of ammunition, according to TBI.

CBS News reports:

According to the TBI, the victims were:

Jennifer Rooney ( A Bristol Herald Courier newspaper carrier) : Deceased after being shot driving in her vehicle on Volunteer Parkway.
Deborah Watts: In serious, but stable, condition at Bristol Regional Medical Center after being shot while working at the Days Inn.
David Whitman Davis: Received minor injuries at the scene after being injured by flying glass resulting from the gunfire.
Officer Matthew Cousins: Sustained a superficial wound to the leg. Was subsequently treated and released from BRMC

Preliminary findings indicate Scott may have targeted people and officers after being troubled by recent events involving African-Americans and law enforcement officers in other parts of the country.

According to agents, they are still working to obtain a thorough understanding of Scott’s motivations.

A second incident took place Friday in Rosewell, Georgia, just north of Atlanta.

A local newspaper reports:

A man in a passing vehicle accused of opening fire on a police officer on patrol in Georgia will likely be charged with aggravated assault on the officer, authorities said Friday. A suspect was apprehended after a short car chase and is in custody.

Detectives have been questioning 21-year-old Victor Alonzo Majia Nunez. Police said his cooperation was “limited.”

Despite multiple shots fired by the suspect, none hit the attacked officer, Officer Brian McKenzie, or his patrol car. The suspect’s race is Caucasian, but his race was not immediately evident.

Once Officer McKenzie realized gunshots were rapidly approaching him, he chased the blue Ford Explorer with Georgia license plates. The car was later determined to have been stolen.

Local news reports:

Charges are pending but will likely include aggravated assault on a police officer, methamphetamine possession, reckless driving and fleeing and eluding, along with charges relating to the stolen Explorer…

Yet a third incident occurred today in St. Louis, MO. It began with a traffic stop on New Balwin Road. An officer pulled over a vehicle and had a conversation with the driver, then turned to return to his patrol car.

The local CBS affiliate reports:

…as the officer was walking back to his patrol car, with his back turned, the driver got out of his vehicle and fired three shots, hitting the officer at least once.

The suspect then fled the scene, but was eventually captured. His name has not been released yet, but he is 32 years old and “on probation for weapons violation, stealing a vehicle in Oklahoma and weapons charges in California,” according to CBS. The entire incident was recorded by dash cam which helped to identify the vehicle and get the description out to other jurisdictions. Charges are pending.

People are so quick to jump on the Black Lives Matter bandwagon, but they ignore that police officers themselves are under attack. It’s sad — these officers put their lives on the line every single day and people can’t even be grateful.
