Trump Makes MAJOR Announcement About Ben Carson

While most of us were admittedly a little shocked when Ben Carson backed Trump in the race for the Presidency, I have to say I was much more shocked at the release of this info.

From Allen B. West:

With Ted Cruz out of the race and John Kasich set to announce he’s suspending his campaign later today, presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump is wasting no time in moving forward on building out his campaign team, amassing a team of advisers and beginning to review potential vice presidential running mates.

To help him with the latter, Trump told the New York Times that Ben Carson will serve on a selection committee to find his running mate.

As The Hill reports, The presumptive GOP presidential nominee said he plans to announce his vice presidential pick in July before the Republican National Convention in Cleveland.

Trump will soon announce a committee to handle the selection process. “I think on the committee I’ll have Dr. Ben Carson and some other folks,” Trump said.

So it would appear Carson himself is not on the short list for veep. In a separate story, reported by our friends, the Young Conservatives, Trump said he would be looking for someone with political experience to help him navigate Capitol Hill – which makes sense, but then that begs the question, whom?

We may already have an indication…

While Trump hasn’t publicly discussed possible running mates, he told The New York Times in an article published Saturday that Ohio Gov. John Kasich, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Florida Gov. Rick Scott were possible contenders.

Um…really? Could that be the reason John Kasich is dropping out? Because he’s hoping for a spot on the ticket?

Is Trump really going to choose a RINO to be his VP?
