Indiana Choosing Delegates And THIS Candidate Has A Clear Lead

Cruz won in a landslide in Wisconsin. I hear he will pretty much get all the delegates in Colorado as well. And now… Indiana. I hear there is a very strong chance all 27 will go to Ted Cruz. What’s worse is that Trump’s campaign is so clueless they didn’t even know of the state’s anti-Trump leanings. Trump abandoned Colorado and California to shore up New York, his home state. He is way ahead there, but Cruz jumped 10 points this week in NY. The game is to keep Trump under 50% and with Cruz surging and Kasich in the mix, there is a real possibility that could happen. Trump and Cruz were tied in California, but with Trump dumping the state, Cruz is sure to surge there as well. Trump is being out-maneuvered on the ground big time.

Indiana

From Young Conservatives:

Indiana hasn’t cast its ballots for president yet, but Donald Trump is already losing.

Republican Party insiders in the state will select 27 delegates to the national convention on Saturday, and Trump is assured to be nearly shut out of support, according to interviews with a dozen party leaders and officials involved in the delegate selection process. Anti-Trump sentiment runs hot among GOP leadership in Indiana, and it’s driving a virulent rejection of the mogul among likely delegates.

“If Satan had the lead on him and was one delegate away from being nominated as our candidate, and Donald Trump was the alternative, I might vote for Donald Trump,” said Craig Dunn, a local GOP leader who is running to represent Indiana’s 4th Congressional District at the national convention in Cleveland. “I’ve always wanted to own a casino, but he couldn’t give me a casino and have me vote for him.”

Trump’s Indiana chairman, Rex Early, a former state party chairman who just signed on to Trump’s team last weekend, said he hasn’t explored the delegate process enough to see how it will unfold. He said he intends to pursue a slot as an at-large delegate next week, and other GOP leaders said he’s an example of a self-identified Trump backer who could make it through the process, given his stature within the state party.

Informed of the local district’s anti-Trump lean, Early described it as “news to me.”

Cruz’s ground game has been the best in the race since the beginning and now you begin to see the results of his labor. Trump just brought on a new team leader and is said to be sidelining Lewandowski. The thug should have been fired. Big mistake. Then the whole Heidi Cruz smear, the Cruz sex allegations that were bogus and the abortion kerfuffle. Trump is having a very bad month and it is costing him. He will almost certainly not make the magic 1237 delegates to cinch the nomination now and Cruz may slingshot ahead of him at the convention. Buckle up folks… it’s going to get wild from here on in. Momentum is now on Cruz’s side and Trump is screwing up big time. Contested convention here we come.
