The Orlando Killer’s Wife Knew What Was Coming. Police Are Deciding Whether To Charge

If you were aware that someone you loved was going to commit an atrocity like what we saw in Orlando, would you keep quiet? Apparently Omar Mateen’s wife did and now the police are trying to decide whether she should face charges.

While you and I know that she absolutely should, the legal system has a mind of its own when it comes to cases like this.

From Liberty Unyielding:

Orlando gunman Omar Mateen’s wife (his current one, not the one he beat) confided to federal agents that she knew about this plans to attack the gay night club, Pulse, and tried to talk him out of it, according to NBC News.

The wife, Noor, “told the FBI she was with him when he bought ammunition and a holster,” adding that “she once drove him to … Pulse, because he wanted to scope it out.” It’s hard to say whether this explains previous reports that he was a “regular” at the club, which would seem to add another dimension to the crime.

Authorities are considering filing criminal charges against Noor for failing to tell them what she knew before the brutal attack, law enforcement officials say, but no decision has been made.

She is cooperating with investigators, several officials say.

One additional detail that has emerged independently by several media outlets including The Blaze is that the weapon used in the attack was not an AR-15 rifle, as previously indicated. Mateen reportedly owned such a weapon, but the one used to kill 49 innocent club goers was a Sig Sauer MCX carbine.

Should she be charged as an accessory, or should she be charged with the murders since her husband isn’t here to take the punishment himself?
