TERROR PLOT AT OLYMPICS – Please Pray

We are asking for prayers because we are 100% sure that if there’s one plot to commit a terror attack at the Olympic games, you know there are others that are in the works as well. These people should not be kept from doing what they love and what they’re good at simply because someone feels like they have something to prove to their “God.”

Just days ago, a Brazilian extremist group named Ansar al-Khilafah pledged allegiance to ISIS, just weeks ahead of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. While the group appears to be small at this time, it apparently had big plans.

Fox News reports:Federal police in Brazil have ordered the detention of 12 people who allegedly pledged allegiance to the Islamic State group via social media.

Justice Minister Alexandre de Moraes told journalists in Brasilia on Thursday that 10 had been arrested and two more were being sought. Moraes says police acted because the group had been discussing the use of weapons and guerrilla tactics to potentially launch an attack during the Olympics, which begin Aug. 5.

The arrests were made in the southern states of Sao Paulo and Parana. Moraes says there were no specific targets for attack. Last week, Brazil’s interim government’s top military aide said the concerns with terrorism had “reached a higher level” after the attacks of six days ago in Nice, France.

According to Morass, “they were completely amateurs and ill-prepared.” For example, “a few days ago they said they should start practicing martial arts.”

Keep in mind, however, that you don’t need to be highly trained to drive a truck into a crowd of people and open fire. While it may be an indicator of intent, it’s not the only one.
