BREAKING: Megyn Kelly Drops Bombshell About Her Debate Confrontation With Trump

It’s a love/hate relationship between Megyn Kelly and Donald Trump…minus the love. From the beginning she just seemed to have it out for him, and he’s no fool, he caught on to her Trump smearing agenda real quick. But…why is she so focused in and targeting to fire on Trump? Here is some behind the scenes information that may help us understand it a little bit more…

When Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly and businessman Donald Trump had their now-infamous showdown over sexism during the first Republican presidential debate, it was impossible to tell what Kelly had under the moderators’ desk.

But in a profile piece from the February issue of Vanity Fair, Kelly revealed she got “violently ill” the morning of the debate. Rather than substitute out, she moderated with a blanket over he legs and a bucket to throw up in by her feet.

Kelly said:

“I would have crawled over a pile of hot coals to make it to that debate. No one was going to be sitting in for me, reading my questions. And I can say with confidence that neither Bret nor Chris wanted to read my questions — for many reasons!”
Specifically, Kelly was referring to her question about Trump’s history of making insulting remarks to women.

Addressing Trump during the August debate, Kelly said:

“You’ve called women you don’t like ‘fat pigs,’ ‘dogs,’ ‘slobs’ and ‘disgusting animals.’ … Your Twitter account has several disparaging comments about women’s looks.”

Trump responded:

“The big problem this country has is being politically correct. … I don’t frankly have time for total political correctness. And to be honest with you, this country doesn’t have time either.”
The presidential candidate followed up on Twitter, blasting Fox News overall but Kelly in particular, even retweeting a supporter who called her a “bimbo.”

But Trump wasn’t always so hard on Kelly. The news anchor suggested to Vanity Fair that Trump tried to curry favor with her before he announced he would run for president.

Kelly said:

“He would send me press clippings about me that he would just sign ‘Donald Trump.’ And he called from time to time to compliment a segment.

I didn’t know why he was doing that. And then when he announced that he was running for president, it became more clear.

She made her position clear:

“But I can’t be wooed. I was never going to love him, and I was never going to hate him.”

Lucky for many Americans, it’s not all about Megyn…plenty of others are being wooed by Trump. Soooo?
