I think Fox Business viewers knew they were in for a treat when filmmaker and “fracktivist” John Fox agreed to be on with Stuart Varney to discuss fracking. I don’t think they were expecting him to be thrown off the set. It started when Fox asked Varney why he wouldn’t frack on his property…
Varney justified his position, contending his property is in the watershed. He then said locals had always joked about lighting their tap water on fire — long before fracking was introduced.
“You are absolutely wrong,” Fox said.
The filmmaker’s next eight words got him booted from the program.
“I do believe you are lying right now,” Fox said.
At which point Varney ended the interview. I’m just shocked a liberal would call someone a liar with out any evidence to back it up. Shocked.
The basis of the segment was about a study the EPA released last week that claimed, ” there is insufficient evidence to suggest “fracking” has caused widespread environmental issues largely related to drinking water.” That was a major component of Fox’s anti-fracking film “Gasland.”
