This is so horrific it is almost incomprehensible. A report by the U.N. Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) and the Office of the U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) reveals that an office for the sale of abducted women – namely Yazidis, who subscribe to the ancient Yazidi religion – was opened in the al-Quds area of Mosul city. 500 girls have been given as trophies for fighting jihad or sold as sex slaves.
Adding to the evilness, as reported by IJ Review,
Women and girls are brought with price tags for the buyers to choose and negotiate the sale. The buyers were said to be mostly youth from the local communities. Apparently ISIL [ISIS] was ‘selling’ these Yezidi women to the youth as a means of inducing them to join their ranks.
It sounds like they’re trying to create their own version of 70 virgins in heaven for jihadists on earth. The fact this involves minors – both girls and boys – is heartwrenching. How low do they have to go before Obama takes ISIS seriously, instead of treating them as “junior varsity” terrorists? A few air strikes will not end this, and they’re headed for the U.S. next.
