Uh oh! A Hollywood star is deviating from the typical, liberal talking points of the Left when it comes to gender equality.
“Jurassic World” actor Chris Pratt, who is known for his drop-dead good looks and Christian viewpoints, has a completely different take on gender equality than the average Hollywood liberal.
Pratt, who rose to mega-stardom after dropping 60 pounds, was asked by BBC Radio if he felt like a victim of sexual objectification.
He answered the question head on:
“Totally, but I think it’s OK,” he said. “I don’t feel appalled by it.”
Pratt then offered a surprising solution for the problem of the sexual objectification of women in Hollywood:
“If we really want to advocate for equality,” he said. “Don’t objectify women less, but just objectify men as often we objectify women.”
“There are a lot of beautiful women who have gotten careers out of it and I am using it to my advantage.”
His reasoning? Human bodies are objects, after all:
“We’re just big bags of flesh and blood and meat and organs that God gives us to drive around,” he said.
Naturally, there is the liberal brigade on Twitter attacking Pratt for not using the liberal script so many actors do just so that they are not attacked by the Left.
However, for a guy who shot to stardom after getting ripped, Pratt’s take on gender equality is a new perspective. Why can’t men be scrutinized just as much as women? Rather than it being practically a hate crime for criticizing any Hollywood starlet’s appearance?
