VIDEO: Strength coach for Ohio State BODYSLAMS fan who runs onto field during game

ohstbdslmNow why would you want to interrupt a college football game, knowing how big and buff all the guys are on the field? In our anything goes, get inebriated anytime and do whatever feels right culture, there’s always some poor schlepp who buys into the no manners mantra – to find out through a brutal awakening that not everyone agrees with the silly indoctrination.

According to Yahoo Sports, when the unwanted fan, wearing Ohio State colors,  ran out onto the field,

OSU assistant strength coach Anthony Schlegel – decided to handle things.

Schlegel played linebacker for the Buckeyes and when this fan made his way onto the field, the former member of the New York Jets and Cincinnati Bengals showed us he still has some skills.

While that may not have been a prototypical form tackle, that was still an emphatic slam that the culprit will surely feel for the next few days.

Schlegel, now in his third season on the strength staff, played for the Buckeyes in 2004 and 2005 after transferring from Air Force. In those two seasons, Schlegel recorded a total of 166 tackles while playing alongside A.J. Hawk and Bobby Carpenter before getting drafted in the third round of the 2006 NFL Draft by the New York Jets.

Now, the nutty fan is likely going to have an arrest and charges to deal with, and if he’s identified, this goofy video will likely follow him around on the Internet the rest of his life. What we’d like to know is, was it worth it?
