People Who Don’t Buy Into Global Warming Alarmism Are “Traitors?”

That ripe bad odor that comes off of the greenies in the environmental movement sometimes isn’t rotting organic wheat, it’s a little whiff of fascism. These comments from the Live Earth: Private Jets For Climate Change events this weekend are evidence,

“Get rid of all these rotten politicians that we have in Washington, who are nothing more than corporate toadies,” said Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the environmentalist author, president of Waterkeeper Alliance and Robert F. Kennedy’s son, who grew hoarse from shouting. “This is treason. And we need to start treating them as traitors.”

The reality is that despite all the hype, favorable press, celebs that rant about global warming, etc., the global warming alarmists are losing the public relations war.

It may not always look that way, because they do win some small battles, but in reality, what they want are sweeping, staggeringly expensive, radical changes to deal with a poorly understood issue that may or may not be a serious problem in a hundred years and may or may not have anything whatsoever to do with mankind.

Despite all the hype and chatter about fake “scientific consensus,” the most diehard advocates of global warming alarming can’t even come close to answering all the basic questions about the theory they’re espousing or explain away the fact that the scientists who say that the sun is primarily responsible for warming make a better case than they do.

So, when liberals like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. get frustrated because their utopian designs aren’t being accepted by the masses, the Stalin, Mao, and Pol Pot in them starts to come out. If you can’t make a good enough case to win by reason, shout your opponents down, try to deny them a platform from which to speak, use the government to force them to obey your will, or just treat them as traitors for honestly disagreeing with you on an issue of science.
