United Nations Demands America Pay Slavery Reparations

The primary financial supporter of the United Nations is the United States. American taxpayers are forced by the federal government to pay it a staggering $8 billion per year. Here is what we are getting for the money:

The history of slavery in the United States justifies reparations for African Americans, argues a recent report by a U.N.-affiliated group based in Geneva.

This conclusion was part of a study by the United Nations’ Working Group of Experts on People of African Descent, a body that reports to the international organization’s High Commissioner on Human Rights. The group of experts, which includes leading human rights lawyers from around the world, presented its findings to the United Nations Human Rights Council on Monday…

Yes, there was slavery here 2 centuries ago, same as in a lot of other countries. We spent 620,000 American lives in the Civil War to end it. Since then we have spent $22 trillion on the welfare state, much of which could be seen as a form of reparations. In addition, blacks are blessed with superior legal status; systematic racial discrimination causes them to be hired, promoted, and accepted to universities at the expense of more deserving candidates of other races in the name of Affirmative Action.

Yet the sanctimonious weenies at the UN demand we pay reparations. They bark their demands from Switzerland, which would no doubt be ruled by Nazis if not for more blood and treasure spent by Americans to make the world a better place.

Ideological thugs on the left will not stop clubbing us over the head with the race shillelagh until we finally say enough is enough.

No one alive today ever legally owned a slave in the United States. Therefore, none of us owes a penny to the slaves, none of whom is alive anyway. Issue over.

If anyone owes reparations to blacks, it is the United Nations, for the African children raped by “peacekeepers,” not 2 centuries ago but currently.
