VIDEO: Messed With The Wrong Guy — Man Catches Up To The Guy That Stole His Wallet

The downside of being a pickpocket is that you might not always find your targets to be someone who will be willing to let you keep their personal belongings. This is… problematic for our thieving friends.

One guy had to find this out the hard way, after lifting a man’s wallet on the train. Well, the victim caught up to the thief and the resulting video is nothing short of hilarity.

The large bearded man claims that the smaller black man stole his wallet while they were on the train and caught up with him. He filmed the exchange as a way to publicly shame the man and perhaps as evidence.

The man in the blue and yellow shirt avidly denied having taken the man’s wallet after it fell out of his pocket, but the larger guy isn’t having it. He publicly berates the man for stealing what doesn’t belong to him in a three-minute video that will have you laughing.

Moral of the story: Don’t mess with this guy. A man who has a family will not give up his means of taking care of them easily.

I can’t believe I actually have to say this, but don’t be a terrible person. It doesn’t benefit you and in some cases (like this one) it can get you publicly shamed. I don’t care how desperate you are, the phrase “crime doesn’t pay” rings true.

As an aside, I think we’ve found the modern-day version of tar-and-feathering a person: Shaming them in videos online. It is arguably more effective, as it will be seen by millions of people who will point and laugh.

I don’t have an ounce of pity for this thief, if he really did steal the man’s wallet. He needs to pay the price.
