Next Up for Destigmatization: Transablism

Already the grotesque narcissistic mentally ill freakishness glorified in the person of Bruce I mean “Caitlyn” Jenner is old hat. We have taken the next step toward absolute moonbattery by moving on to something still more horrific, from transsexualism to transablism:

When he cut off his right arm with a “very sharp power tool,” a man who now calls himself One Hand Jason let everyone believe it was an accident.

But he had for months tried different means of cutting and crushing the limb that never quite felt like his own, training himself on first aid so he wouldn’t bleed to death, even practicing on animal parts sourced from a butcher.

“My goal was to get the job done with no hope of reconstruction or re-attachment, and I wanted some method that I could actually bring myself to do,” he told the body modification website ModBlog.

You might well ask yourself why anyone would want to cut off his own arm and crush it.

His goal was to become disabled.

Why not? After all, in a society run by moonbats, the one sure way to get ahead is to establish yourself as defective in some way. Getting ahead by being better invites demonization and looting. Getting ahead by being worse moves you up in the P.C. caste system.

But even more sickness is at play here. The cancer that social engineers have encouraged by egging on people like Bruce Jenner instead of offering them the psychiatric help they desperately need is metastasizing into something just as surreal and if possible even more deleterious than the media-driven transsexuality craze.

People like Jason have been classified as ‘‘transabled’’ — feeling like imposters in their bodies, their arms and legs in full working order.

“We define transability as the desire or the need for a person identified as able-bodied by other people to transform his or her body to obtain a physical impairment,” says Alexandre Baril, a Quebec born academic who will present on “transability” at this week’s Congress of the Social Sciences and Humanities at the University of Ottawa.

The use of the word “need” in this context is a clue that Baril might belong in a padded cell next to Jenner’s. Sure enough, the article later reveals Baril to be a bearded lady who dresses like a man. This “visiting scholar of feminist, gender and sexuality studies at Wesleyan University” will have no problem getting government grants for her research.

Lectures Professor Baril:

“The person could want to become deaf, blind, amputee, paraplegic. It’s a really, really strong desire.” … Most crave an amputation or paralysis, though [she] has interviewed one person who wants his penis removed [not even Bruce Jenner has gone that far]. Another wants to be blind.

The phenomenon is a natural escalation of a sickness that has already been mainstreamed:

Some of his study participants do draw parallels to the experience many transgender people express of not feeling like they’re in the right body.

No less crazy and far more malevolent than the victims of this severe form of psychiatric derangement are the social engineers who, just as with transsexuals, actually egg them on toward self-mutilation:

Clive Baldwin, a Canada Research Chair in Narrative Studies who teaches social work at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, N.B. … suggests this is just another form of body diversity — like transgenderism — and amputation may help someone achieve similar goals as someone who, say, undergoes cosmetic surgery to look more like who they believe their ideal selves to be.

From here the next logical step will be to reverse the procedures employed by Doctor Moreau, so that those who regard themselves as animals trapped in human bodies can achieve their true forms.
