New York Gov. Cuomo Praises Cuba’s Murderous Castro as ‘Courageous’ Man who ‘Shows Leadership’

What is with Democrats who praise murderous dictators who export terrorism? This time it is New York’s Democrat Governor Andrew Cuomo who slobbered all over himself about how wonderful Cuba’s Raul Castro is.

Cuomo made his disgusting comments during his “trade mission” to Cuba.

Cuomo sat in front a trio of flags–American, Cuban and New York–and introduced Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie, State Senate minority leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins as well as Senator Jeff Klein, leader of the Republican-allied Independent Democratic Conference. Cuomo announced him as the chamber’s “co-leader.”

Cuomo stood after his introduction and declared his lunch with Diaz “very exciting and productive.” He said Cuba’s president, Raul Castro, was “courageous” and “showed leadership.” The top Cuban official was Mary Lou B’Hamel, who supervises North America for the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Trade. She said the government “highly appreciate[s] the interest you have shown.”

Remember that the Castro brothers have murdered millions of Cubans for political reasons, jailed millions in gulags, caused millions more to flee their country as refugees. Remember that the Castros have exported terrorism by supporting the FARC terror group which is responsible for murdering hundreds of thousands and causing millions to become homeless.

Also remember that the Cuban government is harboring American fugitives from American justice–many of whom are murderers.

And THIS is the man that Democrat Gov. Cuomo is praising.
