Taya Kyle on Her Late Husband Chris Kyle: ‘I Was Madly in Love With Him and I Still Am’ (VIDEO)

Learning that your loved one has died is one of the hardest things a person can go through. And for Taya Kyle, she’s been open about the emotional roller coaster she’s been on ever since her husband was murdered, saying that she is still madly in love with her husband.

After her husband was murdered by a former Marine with PTSD, Taya Kyle was left to care for the couple’s two young children. A year after Chris’s death, former Minnesota governor Jesse Ventura was awarded close to $2 million in a defamation lawsuit against the Kyle estate, forcing Taya to hear her husband’s character attacked in court every day.

Taya, who also does speaking appearances around the country, opened up to People magazine about the struggles that she has endured since her husband died.

“I miss him so much. I loved being in his arms. I loved holding his hand. But what I miss most about Chris is the feeling when he was in the room. He just changed the feeling whenever he walked in,” Taya Kyle said. “I missed him even when he was just gone from the room.”

As if dealing with the death of her husband isn’t enough, she also had to deal with the world’s biggest scumbag, Jesse Ventura, suing her and attacking her husband in court. But she’s dealt with these tribulations with the strength and grace of a saint, showing that she’s someone to admire just like her husband was.
